Privacy Notice for RECapp

Welcome to RECapp! Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Notice explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app.

Personal information: by signing in with your personal Bank ID your name and gender will be fetched.
Additional information: Your healthcare provider registers relevant information like type of cancer and operation date which is then linked within RECapp and can be accessed when you use your Bank ID to log in.
Usage data: We collect information about your interactions with the app, such as the features you use and the actions you take.
Device information: we collect data about the device you use to access the app, including its type, operating system, and unique device identifiers.

2. How we use your information

To provide, maintain, and improve our services.
To communicate with you, including sending updates.
To analyze usage trends and measure the effectiveness of our services.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on the following legal grounds:

Consent: When you have given us explicit consent for specific purposes.
Contract: When we need to process your personal data to fulfill our obligations under a contract we have with you. For example, to deliver a service or provide you with customer support.
Legal Obligation: When we are legally required to process your data.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

In order to use Recapp to it´s full intent we are sending your data to your health care provider. We will not give access to your data without your explicit consent.

We do not sell your personal information.
We may share your information with:
- Service providers: Third-party vendors who assist us in operating our app and providing services to you. In our case we store your data at the MMK IT server from the Karolinska institutet.
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights, we may disclose your information.

If we transfer your data to third countries or international organizations, we ensure it is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or Privacy Shield Framework.
